You know the one. It's a tiny bug, a problem that only comes up once in a blue moon -- if it's even a problem and not just a slight problem like a model clipping issue. You really shouldn't care one way or the other, it's so irrelevant... but you care. You can't help but care. The very thought of it bothers you. And even though it's something so obscure that you're not sure if anyone has even bothered reporting it other than you, or so rare or so unnecessary, you still get angry when all sorts of other minor bugs get fixed and this one persists.
We're not talking about bugs that people can legitimately point to as impacting quality of play today, like the infamous Vanish bug in World of Warcraft. We're talking about those minor issues that you can't let go of, sometimes even long after you've stopped playing the game. What small and ultimately irrelevant bug just can't help but get your goat every time it comes up? How do you try to work around it? Have you reported it once, multiple times, or not at all with the expectation that the developers must know about it already?

I play WoW and all of us know when mobs get stuck into trees, behind walls etc, making them evade after you engage fight. nothing to report here i can understand that developers know (its been happening from vanilla wow) and it can happen for a various of reasons like the spot it will originally spot. I consider these mobs unfortunate, all players in their past they used to hit it, it evades, player leaves with the 'i don't play with bugs' in their mind.
Well I've made it a personal mission to release these mobs from their misery. They should have the chance to fight, get killed, spawn again and walk around. 9 out of 10 times you can kill the buggy mob if you bring yourself in the correct position. this usually means only melee hit, from a specific spot, but 9/10 it will work. I have freed many mobs like that in Stormrage and I am sure that they are thankful.
Oh well you can call it bug killer as well.

Another WoW bug... the mage spell "Blink."
This spell has never worked 100% of the time, and never will. I once had to replace a mouse after an arena match that ended when I tried to blink out of a stun but got hung up on a bone on the floor.
It was like throwing a remote, but more expensive.

For me it's something with CoX's graphics and/or sound implementation. For the last couple years, every time I've come back to the game I've only been able to play for a short time before the game freezes with a brief sound loop. Sometimes I can force quit the game, but other times I have to reset my computer. Sometimes I can go a half hour before the crash, and other times it happens within a couple minutes. It has persisted across multiple computers, video cards, sound cards and drivers. It happens whether I'm playing in windowed mode or full screen.
As much as I want to have fun in that game, this issue keeps me away.

Oh god, that reminds me of the sound loop problem in Rainbow Six Vegas (1 and 2). I'll be playing any multiplayer mode, and through some error or timing glitch a gunshot sound will be stuck looping, loudly, and will overcome any other audio, making it where I pretty much have to quit the match because I can't hear my teammates or telltale sounds of combat. This has persisted to this day. :\

I had the same problem when Issue 14 came out and quit CoX for the same reason. But I recently loaded a fresh copy of Windows to see if I could fix my LOTRO / DDO black screen crashout bug ( I couldn't). However, I loaded up the trial of CoH to see if it still crashed and voila - it plays flawlessly now. I theorize that other games put stuff on that messes up something under the surface of Windows, which causes other games to crash (like the SecuRom on Mass Effect which causes a Windows Explorer crash even after the game is uninstalled - gj there EA).
FYI, you can reinstall the same disk of Windows into another directory and then multiboot to it, and it doesn't seem to mess up your current Windows at all. This lets me run a backup copy of Windows in case something ever does mess up my "working" copy. I used this backup copy to test these games, because hard-crashing Windows is a great way to end up reinstalling it anyways.

Spelling mistakes (grammar not so much)...its funny, I don't care how someone spells in chat or on messageboards. But, if I see a spelling mistake in quest text or on an item or whatever has text in game...its quite annoying, and somewhat immersion breaking.

Typos in quest texts / item descriptions, model clipping (hair, weapons, armor through each other), and though it's not a bug, I dislike it when the game has a mechanic where you can clip through characters, but only after running at them for 2+ seconds (I'm looking at you, FFXI). Nothing has killed me more times then trying to zone, but it takes me 10 seconds to run "through" a party at the entrance/exit, and the mob has no such problems.

Armor clipping - specifically armor clipping you see from behind.
Seriously; no-one on the development side put the freakin' armor on a character and walked the whole 5 steps it took to see that hair goes through the collar and legs go through the robe/cloak/dress?!
Nothing says lack of care like implementing gear when it is clealry going to be visually imperfect for the player every minute of every hour they play.

This bugs me too. Especially the endgame epic armor. (Hai WoW priest Tier 8 on females.) I don't want to have to put in effort to put on crappy looking gear.

Control and gameplay execution bugs. The road may not be perfect, the signs may be crooked, the people I meet not very literate, even the work repetitive, and I can deal for the most part. But if I can't even operate the car properly, or it breaks and gets me into accidents, it's either right up on the top of the list of things to fix, or I'm on the top of the list of people who cancelled their sub.

I recently brought my Witch elf out of retirement after 1 year and some odd months, they didnt get single payment. I checked three bugged areas, all dealing with line of site issues for RVR, example, non moveable npcs standing right in front of a siege defense weapon on a main approach rendering them useless, or other weapons sitting behind walls so high they were useless. No change after all that time and some RVR quests still not working due to twinks and such, all issues addressed in closed beta, nothing fixed, really sad, still bugged.
And they are such small things to fix.
I sprung for a month as the new player experience is really hamstrung with restrictions, not seeing warhammer living much longer, bugs (still) and all.

As far as medium/large bugs, back when Wrath was first released for WoW, Retribution had a new and very harsh bug where on many raid fights they would lose sometimes up to half of their Judgements (at the time these were their hardest hitting attacks). It took MONTHS for Blizzard to even acknowledge that this was an issue and just weeks later it was corrected. During the entire time the always-ready-to-troll WoW community just told Paladins to be quiet and that it wasn't an important bug, but to me at the time it was a bug which may have only affected me out of 25 other people, but it made the game not fun more than badly clipping 2H weapons through cloaks ever could.
