While I have great admiration for Strain, I have to say that the more I hear of this new zombie MMO, the less it interests me. It just seems like a "dead end" (no pun intended), market-wise. I think a zombie focus is too narrow and "nichy" for it to be a big success or have broad appeal.

A game with *some* zombies is fine, but a game with nothing but zombies all the time just sounds ... kinda boring to me. :/

Very good interview, thanks for the link. I had little interest for this project at first but after reading the article I'm definitely going to bookmark it; I really, really agreed with pretty much all of Jeff Strain's points about MMO's (and it was refreshing to see some developer honesty instead of the usual hyberbolic commentary). So yeah, looking forward to seeing what they do with this now.

Looks like I'll finally get around to buying a console in a couple years. This is probably my most anticipated MMOG in development.

I am so hoping Jeff Strain and his crew make a great console mmo. Looking forward to hearing more about the game!
