Very cool. I've played most games almost every F2P game, that's been in English, from the last 2+ yrs, and I have to say that this is the best of them.

It's too bad we have a lot of stigma surrounding F2P and micro-transaction business models, but apart from that I think that RoM has done some amazing things that are improvements to the entire genre of MMORPGs.

They've created so many great systems that allow for much more freedom, options, and ease of gameplay that vastly facilitate and improve playing the game.

They way they handle quest and NPC locating, as well as the subtle but different way they handle daily quest drops, to where quests are postioned throughout the world and player hubs stationed throughout each zone create quite an enjoyable experience that really removes many common annoyances previously found in most MMORPGs.

Kudos to them, I think they deserve the award and more for being true pioneers above and beyond the F2P box the US would want to keep them in.

"Why are you still calling yourself Seraphina and referring to yourself as a girl in posts?"

Because that's her name and who she is. If you don't agree, go piss off and go be rude someplace else.

You were incredibly rude in the way you approached that topic in a public site about videogames. If you have any particular questions or gripes over how a person lives her life then you should talk to Seraphina in her blog or contact her by e-mail.

Related to the topic:
I tried to play RoM but the lack of sounds and the underpar graphics drew me away from it. The world wasn't particularly immersive for me as well...

But i am eagerly waiting for Allods Online.

Why, he made it a public issue involving massively when he made an editorial about it on the site. Rude or not, he made it concern massively, so there is no problem in asking about it here.

Look, your initial comment had no bearing on the actual article. I'm sure a lot of moderators (and guild leaders or officers) can back me up on this: take it to private channels.

Sheesh. Some people.

The customer service of Frogster America is horrible and prevents anyone from enjoying this game beyond the lowest levels. Don't waste a dime here. Find a game where they don't treat customer's like cows to be milked of their money and turned out to pasture.

Not Worth wasting your time on.

This post looks remarkably like Frogster America posting as a player. There is no way a real player would have these things to say about a company notorious for horrible customer service. If you like the game play the Euro version the customer service there is lightyears better

I did agree with this vote until the recent change in the way diamonds are handled on the EU servers. I don't think the customer service is better there.
Frogster ran all sorts of diamond sales and then, after the fact, announced that diamonds purchased through certain methods - credit cards and Paypal - would NEVER be useable to purchase gifts or items from the auction house. That's all diamonds purchased after 12/23, before the special promotion events to sell more diamonds.
My husband summed it up well - bait and switch.
Our guild was really enjoying the game and putting real money into it. Now we're shopping around for something new. And no, we're not switching to the US servers in the hopes they don't change the policies over here.
