I honestly can't wait for this. I've been patiently waiting for Earthrise for some time now, and any and all information is make me as giddy as a school girl.

this couldn't desert npc cities in the long run, depending on the player count ofc.

Would be cool if player-built cities could with enough size/buildings/players become their own faction within the game & generate quests that increase faction with them, lowering prices at their vendors etc.

Yes, I would hope this would happen also. I really want major guild cities to become small towns. Controlled and ran by players. That is what a sandbox is all about after all.

Earthrise is the second coming of Anarchy Online. Will it take 3 years to become playable too? My magic 8-ball says yes.

Good ideas so far but how the game will play is another thing. Think most of us over the last couple of years are starting to see through the hype as a few so called big games are at best average. I will hold judgment on this one till I get to play it for real. Seen all the hype before but thanks for the info on the game.

Who remembers player cities in SWG? Those were GREAT, especially for their time. Nothing that cool had been done since UO. If Earthrise's cities are that cool, I'm in.
