@ Fisty: For every person who says "this game sucks!" online, there's about 5 others who quietly cancel their monthly subscription.

I'm not trying to be sarcastic or rude, but just take a second and consider that some of the people who have complained about CO just might have some valid points to their negative perception of the game.

It's not personal. It's nothing against people who find things they do enjoy about CO. It is just feedback from people who did shell out money for a game that was, honestly, incredibly sparse and buggy at launch. It might be better now, but constant server outages and lack of content cost CO big time.

This is absolutely true. However, there are also a bunch of folks that just love to kick the crap out of something in comment posts.

Note - I'm *not* saying your post is an example of this type of behavior. It's just something I've observed in other CO-related discussions online. See the comments on yesterday's champions-related post for an example.

For those of us that like the game, shortcomings and all, it just gets really tiresome. I'm willing to bet that's the motivation behind electrobix's post.

@HooliganBFLO:

I absolutely agree with you. My point is aimed at all the neep-noppers whining about issues in the game that have been dealt with. To those I say:"let it go!"

Yes, there was a launch nerf. It happened...deal!

I haven't experienced any servers going down in quite a while, and I play almost daily.

Although the channels have been quiet in the past, I'm starting to see more LFG requests and casual banter, which makes me believe a community is building.

I don't mind people bringing up valid pertinent issues, like more activities for supergroups, but most of the points that are brought up every time a CO article comes out sound like dead-horse beating.

Another reason this game and anything Cryptic catches a lot of flack is because this site tends to play favorites with all things Crytpic in their opinion pieces. I'd bet if they cut back and only wrote one or two pieces a week on a Cryptic game or even wrote something focusing on the games issues that needs to be worked out, I would bet the "mud slinging" would be much less worse. But when all you read is 2-3 articles every single day telling you this game is great and ignore the many many issues, that will get many subscribers or former subscribers who have been burned feeling they need to respond to give their view of their own experiences that are far from blissful.
