Aion's pretty much going to win every category because it has the most fans. Seriously, best crafting? The crafting in Fallen Earth is one of the selling points of the game. I wasn't even aware Aion *had* crafting.

Oh well, I'm happy for NCSoft. They also have other games that I enjoy (CoH) or am looking forward to (GW2).

You People Bashing on Aion got no clue what its about. You Don't have to Grind in Aion Unless you want to there are endless Quest (so try playing a game before u say its a grind fest) if You Know where to look The story line is actully un the game un like wow. Speaking As Someone Who Has Several Level 80's in WoW and is now in the end game of Aion. Aion is a game for those of us who are freakin Tired of Blizzard Lowering The Challenge of the game so that any idoit stupid person can do it. Aion Reaches The End Game Challenges of Wow By the early 20's. The Crafting In The Game Makes WoWs Look Silly. And Well Anyone Who Doesn't Vote For Aion For Best Graphics is just being even More Retarded no game has looked that good before. Aion by the way has over 4 million world wide players so its a little hard to call it a failure just becuase it doesn't have 10 mil like wow YET.

Lol - most people are just chosing the top one to see which MMO has the highest vote.

Aion got the biggest disappointment AND the best MMO? lol.

If they would ever make Shadowrun into an MMO I would cry tears of pure gold JOY.

Well, atleast there will be a World of Darkness MMO? I hope for mages, vampires, ghouls, werewolves, and "ghosts" to all be playable in it, and to use only 1 server plus somehow make the masquerade work in the MMO

here here! Shadowrun really needs to be picked up by a company who will put the care and time into it instead of that crappy FPS that microsoft shoveled out of the septic tank. The ruleset, especially 3rd edition screams MMO.

Funny that people are running in and just clicking down the list for their favorite MMO's...

Note how all the numbers are near the same. The AION Players are here in droves, and they aren't paying attention. Not only did they vote it best MMO, they voted it biggest disappointment! Wowee :)

These polls are interesting... I wonder how many of us really know enough about every game to answer the polls with anything besides the game we play...

I'm looking forward to Earthrise a lot!!! It's got little publicity out there so far but the game looks to be awesome! The Question of the week thread is the best place to find information about the game.

Star Trek Online is going to blow giant, massive chunks. I've played the beta and stopped after three sessions. The game is completely boring beyond words and feels worse that Champions Online. Even the "outer space" environment is all wrong and utterly lacking in any imagination.

One would think that Cryptic would devote all of its resources to make one really great game rather than make several sub-par games.

Cryptic would love to focus on one game at a time, unfortunately, Atari bought them at the end of 2008, beginning of 2009. Atari is in such a hurry to have a cash cow on the market, that they would prefer to rush an unfinished product over a finished and polished product.

Atari is really dumb. To get their little cash cow they'll sacrifice the chance of making lots and lots of money over the course of 5-10 years and probably beyond, in place of selling a bunch of boxes and losing most of their subscribers in mass after 6-8 weeks of growing bored with Champions Online 1.5 with space skins.

Yeah great plan Atari, ask EA Mythic how well that exact plan worked for them last year. I just hope this hunk of junk game doesn't ruin the chances for a competent developer to make a real Star Trek MMO sometime down the line. What a waste.

These polls are worthless as they are only based on people who visit this site.

Aion easily had the best launch because it had very few bugs or other problems. However, the horrendous grind on it is why it's the biggest dissapointment. I'm surprised Fallen Earth did so well in the categories. One poll I have to agree on is Aion and Fallen Earth topping out the crafting, because they both excel in that aspect. Fallen Earth would have rated better in PvP, but right now the game has very few areas to PvP in, and those areas are quite small.

Bugs? No.

Pre-selection lockouts three hours after they opened at noon? Yup.

Headstart fiascos? Yup.

Queue's for sometimes as much as eight hours on a preferred server? Yup.

Bots everywhere without CS seeming to care? Yup.

... really smooth.

It's a great game underneith all that, yes. Niche, but great. But I wouldn't call its launch good by any stretch of the word. Even FreeRealms came out the door smoother than that.

CO really does deserve to win Biggest Disappointment, especially given all the CoX experience on the Cryptic team.

They went and made the same old Emmert/Roper mistakes again, plus the worst launch I can honestly remember in recent history.

CO will never be able to shake the association with "disastrous launch day nerfs" the way AOC can never shake "Being trapped in a resource zone for a week".

I agree that CO definitely deserves biggest disappointment, but to be fair their Dev team didn't have much of the CoX experienced devs working on their team at all.

95% of the dev team that worked on CoH and CoV stayed and are still at what is now Paragon Studios. Only the Cryptic suits and a very very small handful of others left to reform Cryptic after they sold their property. In fact the only actual developer I can think of off the top of my head that stayed with Cryptic is Geko and if you know who he was from CoX, he's not something worth bragging about.

I'm still laughing, CrimeCrash? you really got to be on drugs if you could include CC here. That is gotta be the most unstable error ridden game i've ever had the displeasure of playing. Does anyone ever test the games or read the CC forums on the they so freely rate. CC does NOT belong in the same class as these "real" games and certainly does not belong in these ratings. Having subscribed and played it, I know this.
