Well i did not voted... the reason was that i find somewhat annoying to go to the eve site, re-log then see the candidates.

if they put this stuff as an ingame feature i would probably have voted...

One day, I'll understand why the turnout is so stratospherically crap time and time again.

7 percent? More like 90 percent turnout, the other ten percent are rotating trials that simply dont care.

You CCP folks do try to spin it.

Not at all! Even in the 2004 presidential elections, turnout was 57%. This is a vote you can make without even going outside for god's sake, turnout really shouldn't be this low...

How did this thread end up on RL US voter turn out? What about the turn out in the local elections of Stoney Middleton in 1974? That's what I want to know.

What I think would be good in future is if each candidate did a short election broadcast, talking to a camera, saying why we should vote for them; and maybe some televised debates so we can see how well they can make their case.

I wonder how many of those votes came from the alliance voting blocs. I read all their platforms but the only one I liked was TeaDaze. Sadly forgot to vote because I am a terrible person.

I did vote but I found it very difficult to find information about all the candidates, who they were and what they stood for. I think CCP could help with this by allowing more information about the candidates on the voting pages. I also think it is time the candidates started to form "parties" around the same generic issues.

More information and btter tools to get at it. That would improve the vote.
