With Orion running this game into the ground and them trying all this lame stuff, why dont they simply consolidate to one server (they could easily) and let the game slowly just go away (which it is) and give some other publisher a shot at LOTR done right?

Some people just like to troll. Some people also lie to themselves so much that eventually they actually believe the nonsense that comes out of their mouths. The game is thriving and showing no signs of withering away unlike some of it's MMO competition.
