I spent a while in the Alganon beta and I got to say whatever incredible origionality David Allen may have had with horisons died with that game.

The blunt truth of it is Alganon is a third rate WoW clone with an Eve style secondary progression system tacked on.

Now I know that the "OMG GAME X IZ A WOW CLONE" is overused but in this case it is TOTALLY accurate.

The UI is blatently copied from WoW. There are lots of things like weapon skills and talent points that you can argue, "Well WoW didn't invent that," or "Other games have that too" if you really want.
