I guess my unsubscribed Witch Hunter dies with Phoenix Throne. I can't imagine resubbing just to move him.

I'd rather they just let it die and let someone else have a crack at the IP. Maybe as a F2P it can drag on for a while longer, but as a nominal triple A there's no way it can compete with the new MMOs coming down the pike.

You're dreaming. If Warhammer goes down for good the brand name will be toxic as far as MMOs go. You will be waiting a decade before a new warhammer fantasy MMO comes out, because there are plenty of other franchises to base a game on and EA is hardly in a position to roll the dice a second time.

If you like the lore as much as you claim then enjoy Warhammer while it's still around.

Karak-Azgal and Karak-Norn have a very healthy population at the moment, because of the recent transfers from Eltharion. According to the server status: high (in prime time).

Just to help clarify on this, I canceled about a month ago and played on PT. PT had a constant low population, no ques popped...ever and it was impossible most times to find anyone doing anything especially after they started the apprentice program. Everyone jumped up to T4 and if you didnt have a friend that would bring you up, you were pretty much finished on that server.

PT was the last remaining RP server. But that game never seemed to lend itself to RP very well with the lack of verbs and ability to do the simplest of things like sit or even stow your weapon.

Its only a matter of time now. Hate to see it. Its almost like watching a sick beloved pet slowly and painfully pass.

I agree. I wonder how long it will be before WAR is 'put down'.
