One of the continued complaints we hear from Aion players is that bots litter the game's digital landscape, severely reducing the enjoyment of actual flesh-n-bones players. So we feel inclined to shout, "Good news, everybody!" at today's announcement by NCsoft that nearly 16,000 accounts have been banned during a recent unscheduled server reboot.
That's a huge number and certainly nothing to scoff about. This should hopefully alleviate much of the problem, at least temporarily -- and then future banhammers will likely come crashing down.
We hope nobody was caught in the crossfire with today's bans, but if you do find yourself without an Aion account to play and are 100% sure of your innocence, you can create a support ticket. Obviously, this isn't ideal if you're suddenly without your account, so with any luck there aren't any cases of mistakenly banned players.

Yeah...I certainly didn't hate it, and it remains as a "Might Return In The Future" title. But as it stands right now the game is just a chore with no creative content and a very tiny uninspiring world.
The game simply has no soul as it currently is.

So you belive these lies from Koreans?
Since playing it I no longer do.
How could I ever believe in a Korean grinder.
Worthless junk.

I for one am happy about the ban, (provided i wasn't mistakenly banned). The game is a very good, fun game, and it seems like people qq about it for no real reason other then its Korean.
That being said, the price of Aether will skyrocket. without the bots grinding it, Legimate Aether gatherers can dictate higher pricing.

A comment or two for Xylona:
Your husband is a cheat. WOW and other MMO's that have an in-game economy are a test of money EARNING skills. Obviously, Hubby is not a skilled player. Where do you think the gold Hubby buys comes from? As the real world price of MMO gold dropped, gold dealers switched from farming to hacking and stealing. Your husbands gold is stolen from skilled players who know how to play and aren't cheats. You must be so proud....
