I just wish the trial could be activated on canceled accounts. I'd like to play it again with a friend of mine to see if he likes it. But I don't want to renew if we BOTH don't enjoy the changes.

I'd hate to create a new account to level with him to ten on a few characters. Maybe he decides to get the game while I renew. But then the character on the new account of mine would be useless because I can't keep playing it with him.

You may be eligible for a 10-day retrial if you haven't taken one previously. I took my old account for a spin (didn't pre-order and pay $50 to be treated as a presumptive goldspambot ;)) and it offered me the trial automatically when I went to resubscribe. (You do have to enter payment info and then cancel to avoid being billed.)

Tried it last night. I generally don't like PvP and have avoided it for years but T1 RvR was a real blast. One of those "holy crap, it's 2am and I have work in the morning" moments.
Not sure what it's like post lvl 10 but so far, seriously considering buying it.
