I mean, if you are that eager to spend $15/month to make virtual money, why not spend $15 on a stock book, and invest $165 a year in real life?

By your reasoning why spend any amount of money on any games? they're all virtual and not real. The money spent here is for entertainment, and what each person defines as entertainment is completely up to themselves.

What am I thinking? Instead of paying 15 euros a month to have loads of fun, I could invest that into RL stock and make, maybe 10 euros a year. After tax, that could be as much as 8 euros a year profit!
btw, if you don't value the virtual world of MMOs, why are you on an MMO website?
