My Fiance is a very large merchant in SL. She designs clothing, shapes, maternity goods, etc. We make a decent chunk of change each month from SL. Around $2500-$3000 USD depending on the month.

She'll be fine, but is not happy about the change because many people use the Exchange as a sort of Search Engine which is more refined than the in-game Search function. People would search for a product, find it on the web, then teleport directly to the store to purchase the item. So, its really just going to be the small merchants that are snuffed out of existance with this change. But, I'm sure some of the larger volume merchants aren't happy either with having to shell out more from their bottom line.
