Haha, i'll never be able to respect them anymore.

I mean really, what's with the retarded school kid/wanna be/poser attitude? Shouldn't they be -or at least look like- more mature, you know, with character?

Given my current grips with NCsoft and their complete inability to show any sort of respect for their paying customers, I'd gladly flip Ayase and Tamat the bird in public. Hell, I think I'd go as far as throwing rotten tomatoes at them.

Ahh, i remember that feeling. Then i made it up to lvl 18 and realized thats as far as the fun part of the aion experience went before reality started kicking in, my class started sucking, quests started becoming sparse, i had to start grinding, and an overall lack of necessary polish started to show through.

yeah, aion in its current form is all about grinding, grinding, grinding. it's boring and quite repetitive (repeat quests, hello?) for both leveling and crafting. hopefully, ncsoft will see the diminishing subscriber numbers and make significant changes to the game by implementing more quests and more xp per quest. otherwise, it'll be another dead mmo for that company.

And where was my Tabula Rasa apparel? If subscription numbers were low, I'm sure that the core group of dedicated subscribers would have bought enough apparel to make up for it. I know I would have as I know I couldn't get enough TR merchandise: http://www.divshare.com/download/6544165-3ab (calendar was my own creation)

Not only I miss TR I would wish they did all this marketing for it.

but no it had "too low subscriptions" for a game that they virtually did no advertisement at all.

Was just thinking about the things Jinx.com could have done with things like Foreas Base announcements ("Reinforcements have arrived, as the drunk tank has been flushed"), or classes (forget about those "Rouges do it from behind" shirts, how about "Exos do it with their clone", or "Guardians: speak softly and carry a big stick")... sigh

@Psychotic Storm

Are you serious? They sent Lord British to fucking space for that game.

@justsaynosaj

Actually, he paid for the trip out of his own pocket; and of the two biggest news announcements that I saw regarding his spaceflight (Wired news article & Colbert Report clip), neither mentioned the game (although the whole "Operation Immortality" project was a cross-promotion for the game... but then again, just how interested are kids in space these days anyways?)

Yeah I actually played because I'm an MMO turkey, but surprise surprise, it really really sucks after 25. I couldn't bring myself to get past 27.

Allods looks like it's going to tear the heart right out of Aion, and it's free.
