The graphics do look really nice. And free to play guarantees that tons of people will try it, myself included.

Some one should look into Allods Online. The textures, assets and client look like they were borrowed from several games (starting with WOW)

I downloaded and was actually going to play, but it's another game like Neo Steam that requires admin privileges. I know Allods is a lot less risk than my web browser, but it still bugs me that they write the game so that it requires admin privileges to run. I'd feel a lot better about it if they considered a security model that didn't depend on it.

Nice going.
The game doesn't feel like a clone of world of warcraft, says you, it feels more like a clone of world of warhammer, which is a clone of world of warcraft. I wanna die.

And then to describe the game you go thru a list of same old same old elements.
Seriously your review can be resumed this way: as for this gameplay thing... well if you played world of warcraft you'll know this one too...

AND you say it as if it's a goddamn compliment, that's what's so awful and sad. We've been so much brainwashed we don't even know we're being sodomized.

Wow, this seems pretty interesting. I shied away from the WoW look at first, watching the video was intriguing, and then I noticed that it was Free 2 Play. Pretty genius move on their part, who can deny trying out a free game? Though I wonder how they will make their money, what kind of items will they have for sale to fund a game that looks this nice?

One thing I'm most curious about is if there is PvP in any form, I didn't see it mentioned at all, I'd assume not, which would be a shame. PvP is always more satisfying to me than sitting in place hitting a mob that runs off a script.

Yep there's definitely PvP and it looks like a load of fun. (music in video NSFW)

Well I'm in CB2 and I am enjoying it a lot. I haven't played an MMO in quite some time that drew me in as well as this one does. The environment, ambient sounds - it definitely is a lot better than WoW, in my opinion. And, even though many of the quests are still your typical 'fedex' and 'kill ten rats' type quests, somehow it does not seem to feel grindy to me. And, as for the slow combat comments, perhaps I just lucked into the right class first time, but playing the Psionisist is a lot of fun, and it was really enjoyable to figure out how the skills link up to make a great combination.

Great job on this game, it will likely be my MMO of choice for quite some time! So far it seems to me to be far more polished and enjoyable than many of the p2p games out there. It is amazing this one is a f2p title! Bravo!

As a player of many FTP and PTP MMOs, I must say that this one is very good. I think it is almost worthy of PTP, truth be told, and will probably be the first FTP MMO that I actually pay money for in extra content. The graphics/art styles are gorgeous, the game play, as others have said, is WoW-esk but different, at the same time. The difficulty is there, which makes me happy. They might iron it out in the future, but I can't really say. I haven't played it long, but this is first impressions. :)

Allods had a lot of potential but they have completely ruined it. How? Fear of Death. When you die you get a 30 min debuff that stacks 4 times and decreases your offensive ability by 10%. When you get this debuff you have to get a blessing from a Servant of Light (that is only available 1 time per day) or buy something from the item shop (that is currently broken). This wouldn't be so bad except.. This is an open PVP game. Anyone who has played with PVP in and MMO knows that they will be spending all their money just trying to keep this buff gone. NO THANKS!!

Looks promising! So, it has WASD movement controls like WoW and point and click. Does anybody know if it also has WoW's "two-mouse-button" movement mode? Where you hold down both mouse buttons to run forward and the steer/look with your mouse?
