Perhaps it's my age, or my male side, but I can't stand cell phones. I have one sure, but it isn't the newest gadget by a longshot and I could really care less. Perhaps if they didn't cost as much as my PS3 it might be a different story, but I do all my internet serfing from the comfort of my desktop PC.

I'm not a phone junky like today's generation seems to be, so Iphone apps don't even hit my radar.

I hear ya man, I hear ya.

Worst part is I work at Radio Shack, so I'm forced to act like a cell phone is the best thing a person could possibly own. Gah I hate that job.

Oh and eleventybillion with the 180 grind spinning axe of death attack alone.

I just find the screens of mobile devices to be too small for primary gaming (and video watching). I think its great for supplemental stuff like EVE (and soon Fallen Earth) has, or for simple casual (Sudoku, etc), but I just have no desire at all to play WoW or an FPS or RTS game on such a tiny device.

I agree. I think cellphones provide a great platform to extend the game's content, a la Capsuleer. With the advent of always connected devices, not exploiting that market is a serious mistake.

Uh...yes...and no...I guess...

I don't game on my iPhone. In fact, I have NO apps for it at all mainly because I enjoy surfing the web so much on it that I have never found the time for a game.

That being said I am regularly surfing the forums for games on my iPhone, especially since my work network makes so much noise about visiting non-work websites.

So the MAJORITY of my iPhone web time is game-related but I don't play games on it.

Have you guys missed outer empires? I can see how you might, it's been out for browsers since august. A very simple game, but a full fledged MMO much like Eve online. Requires an internet connection.

This is a really great game. Much like EVE on the go. Great dev support and community.

I've tried playing games on my iPhone. I really enjoy Bejeweled, but that's about it. Most games just don't translate well to such a small screen. I do like apps that connect me to the games I play on my PC. For example, I love the WoW Armory app. It's great to be able to check my guild calendar on the go.

I'll be checking this game out as an old fan of games like Tradewars. But I won't plunk down the 2 bucks for the iPhone client unless the game is fun and has staying power.

The idea of mobile MMOs is cool by me, though. As long as they don't just try to be WoW on a tiny screen, and instead use mobile technology, I see nothing wrong with a massive multiplayer game over a cell network. They're all already playing Foursquare and Latitude like they're MMOs.
