Long story, Cryptic ran a contest to name a park in Champions and kinda screwed up their own contest. Many people chose the name "Sakura Park," naming it after the real-world park in New York City. The winner was suppose to have a plaque commemorating their naming decision in the park, and was suppose to receive a beta key.
Well, since so many people chose Sakura Park, they just went with that name and didn't give anyone a key or the plaque. Idiotic? Kinda. Worth crying about X months later? Not really. That's my opinion, of course. Take it or leave it.
But, Kdolo should get his side of the story, which can be found at: http://forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=19751 . In his defense, he does outline a nice compromise and he presents a very solid argument that even I can back up and appreciate.
He still drives me absolutely nuts with this though. Just saying.
