Screenshots like this make me want to play Age of Conan again. Pity I'm terrible at PvP.

I know there are, but with all the focus on PvP and sieges and all that, I feel like I'd be missing out on a whole lot.

Also, I'd want to be on an RP server, and the only RP server is RP-PvP, and not very RP-ish from what I've seen. :/

There's a PvE-RP server called Hyrkania. So no excuse for not joining. :P

really only 2 non sandbox games that ever held my attention. AoC and COH. just great art and setting, combat system keeps you involved, and dang its pretty.

PvP is a pretty tiny part of the game really. About the only part of the launch issues thats still ongoing ish.

Wiccana(sp) is the unofficial RP server but yes its light. But then what RP MMO server actually has solid RP? More about the people you run with than the game.

Pretty funny you mention CoX and AoC. Thats also true for me now, not at launch, but CoX got bumped for CO. Took 4 years to find a replacement though so good on CoX =)

It's quite interesting - when AoC came out (despite the false promises and technical issues etc) there wasn't much else to benchmark it against, save for triple-a titles.

Now, after having had time to sample a bunch of other not-so-wonderful MMO's, I find that AoC holds up extremely well amongst it's peers.

@Clockwork:
Solude is correct - hop on Wiccana for optional RP (which is lots of fun given the setting), and I wouldn't worry about PvP. I've leveled multiple toons and PvP'd about twice.. ever. =)

how do you find teh PvP on teh PvE servers? Are teh boarder kingdoms active and are there a log of mini games? I like PvP but i dislike getting ganked at quest givers and would happily roll on a PvE server if there was enough PvP arround.
