"...and they must be going over pretty well, because they've extended the offer through November 18th."

I'm probably just being a cynic, but when I hear that a company is extending some kind of promotion beyond its usual duration, my assumption is that sales are *not* going well and they are getting a bit desperate.

Ditto. Makes me think that people aren't buying what they are selling.

Nah, you're not just being a cynic, that's a pretty reasonable guess and one that I'd agree with. But it's hard to be certain...it's not like they can be "sold out" of the product like a store selling a physical product. The dates they set are totally arbitrary and usually designed to get people to buy before the deal "expires." Then they extend the offer and get a whole new round of people to buy-in before it "expires" again.

The writers here at Massively also tend to put a positive spin on just about everything that I've read, no matter how dismal or bad a situation may be in any given game.

I like how massively is always positive and not trying to be bias.

Unlike some gaming magazines i read..... gosh.... if they don't like a game they just mention a better selling game and tell you to buy that one... talk about a good review......
