Oh cmon. Is that necessary? Poke fun at yourself. Clearly your sense of humor is gone if you can't realize that some/most of these stereotypes exist in all of us MMOers at some level or another.

So you roll off your supermodel ex-girlfriend out on your yacht to get a little MMO action? Oh right... probably not. Because you're average just like the rest of us. It's a funny show. If you don't like it, don't watch it or read articles about it.

I was told to read after the break, but there was nothing to read, just a video. :(

The Convention Fans blog was at GameX and interviewed them as well (they were all very nice and gracious to the fans):

The Guild is a good show for what it is and could really take off. Its web based format however tends to give it a hyper-reality based setting and it's unfortunate to learn that basically none of them ever played MMO's before. Robin Thorsen (Clara) seemed especially put off by the thought. Hopefully there won't be a "Vanilla Ice" flavored backlash from this.

After watching this uninspiring interview full of fidgeting, half baked answers and a total lack of enthusiasm it tells me that they really don't take it very seriously and have other projects that are much more interesting to them.

Although it seemed as if they were impromptu Interviewed in a backroom at a convention , they should have a better marketing strategy and realize this could be their big break considering no one's ever heard of them till now. Even with the plethora of other projects they plugged at the end.

They're actors. Don't be put off that some of them aren't MMORPG nerds like the rest of us. If they're doing a good job (as actors) you'd never know. That's the point. :) I understand it would be much more awesome to find out they're all players, but don't let it turn you off to the series to find out they're not.
