I'm still hesitant, but the more and more I read about this game, the more I think I'm going to like it. Even more than Aion. It's very clear to me what they're doing, and how the gameplay is going to work out. And I like.

Plus being a Trek fan helps...

I like the fact that STO will be including solo endgame content. Why pretty much every other MMO out there resorts to the stale raid/PvP endgame formula I really don't know, but that's the point I usually drop out of a given MMO. I like the *option* of *occasionally* grouping with other players in MMOs, but if that's my only option, no thanks.

Cryptic needs to come up with something better than "BO" for Bridge Officers, I think. : /

As for Bridge Officers, I am confused. In the Dev chat, it sounded like a .... errrr.... BO might be your reward for a mission, but I thought STO allowed you to design and create your own crew?

You find BOs through the exploration system and episodes.

If you explore a unknow planet or have one mission in another you can find some BOs there. The exploration system give to you the option to discover or "create" your own new race or culture, a member of that culture can be one of your BOs. Pehaps the aparition of a BOs is more how a randon loot in planets discovered or in mission planets.
