We're not entirely certain where this particular mob features in Aion, but the story that came with today's Aion One Shots was so strange, we couldn't resist putting it out here. We just wish we'd have found out what the mob dropped. Quinn R. who plays on the Kaisinel server sent this fun report to us. He explains: here's a screen grab of the entire (along with some other random people) "Gigantic Box" legion (which I'm a leader of) killing the mob [named] Gigantic Box! First a little back story about the mob: Gigantic Box has tons of health and a regen ability so it takes forever to kill. Along with [the box] having a gigantic (pun intended) amount of health you also only hit 1's on it.
Have you found a strange and unusual mob in your favorite game that's taken forever to kill? Whatever your reason, we want to hear from you! Send in those screenshots of MMOness to oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name, the name of the game, and a quick explanation of what we're seeing in the picture. We'll post it out here and tell the world of your adventure.

Well they do cover as many MMO's as they can, so it's not as if they really were going to log on and research the box, and it's fair if they haven't heard of it. Personally I got sick of hearing people whining for others to come help kill it.
See I don't really know that much about it either, because I don't know if the Elyos side has one too. I'm assuming they'd put one on both sides tho.

No it doesn't hit back, and it doesnt have regen either they told porky pies there..
It just takes forever to kill, but it is worth it it has a bunch of cool loot for most of the classes and class variants inside.
How do I know? because I was one of the first in closed beta to waste time killing it to find out :)
Sad but true..

The box is a social encounter, almost certainly intended to draw a crowd, sheathe your weapons, take the gloves off, and shoot the breeze for a couple of hours around a proverbial "water cooler" of loot with a few new friends.
I've gone back to it on several occasions just to meet and greet real players in Atreia. Because you won't ever see bots hitting THIS thing.

My experience with the big bad box... on the Azmo side it drops in the middle of the level 12-16 section of Idun's lake. After seeing it spawn my immediate reaction is to go and smash into it a few times like any sensible mmoer will. After calling a few friends to came and assist we begin the very, very , very long task of auto attacking on it and watch as it jumps up and down taunting you with in gold filled goodness. After about 1.5 hours of auto attack afk the box finally cracks open revealing an assortment of level 16 green weapons, (sword, great sword, dagger and book) and 300 K... worth it , well not really but hey at least now i can say i beat up a big bad box!

Stuff like this actually kills immersion for me. I'm supposed to be a badass ascended immortal that can't die and can fly, but I hit a large box for one point of damage. This also means that virtually every boss in that game has less defense than a large box.
From what I hear as well, if you kill large box, you force-spawn small end table, which may have 10% chance to pop angry refrigerator.
