Good Lord, I know in Demon Soul's you can't lose your stats or "de-level" :P I was just giving an example of a consequence.

Besides, if combat and fighting in an MMORPG were actually fun, it wouldn't be so bad to relevel or something.

/sigh

Ok, I thought they were going to be the terrestrial versions of EVE. One of the devs said that somewhere I thought I'd read, a bit ago. That statement endeared me to this game and I committed to playing it definitively after having read that. Yeah, I love the genre, but that statement sold me without a doubt.

Look, we WANT a challenge. We APPRECIATE a challenge. Let there BE a challenge. Please please please enough with the listening to effin WHINERS. They can go play wow ffs.

No effin fast frickin travel. I log in to EVE and I live in Metropolis. If I want to fly to Delve, I already KNOW it's going to take forever. PERIOD. That is as it SHOULD be. Space is large, and it should feel that way. So is the grand effin canyon. It should feel that way. What's the point in having some huge area map if you can just port across it willy nilly any time you so choose?

For all the advocates of respecs. We all KNOW the dudes crying for them are the same dudes that DO NOT READ anything remotely resembling a set of instructions about their powers. They will tend to be the first ones looking for some way to dominate everyone else and when it doesn't pan out, they start to cry foul. You know it's true. In the case of game or power changing events on a grand scale, I'd say it should be allowable, however.

Stuff should hurt when you die. You should not WANT to die. Death should not be viewed as a minor inconvenience; a method of fast travel; or a miniscule setback on your meteoric rise to the fabled "end game." It kills intellect. It fosters fools, hence the phrase "fools rush in." These same endgame seekers are the ones that will pl to max level in a month, solo every boss then could find, and then badmouth your game on the boards for being as easy as it was, before quitting.

We've all seen these types, and this is definitely a game I'd like to be known as a thinking gamer's game.

Please please please, just HTFU. The players will too.

Im sorry but most of you must be in college or something with unlimited time. Most people only have a limited time to play and asking for a respec is not an outragous thing. Id rather not lvl another charcter from zero anymore. Its time i could be spent doing other things. Hell if they dont impliment something like a respec then they are going to loose alot of players. Most dont have the time or patience to roll another charcacter because real life issues take precedence.

if everything is balanced end-game than they should do limited non-full respecs

if it ends up being unbalanced (not by a little) than full respec once or twice would be good, until unbalanced is fixed
