I'll be a nice guy and vote for Fallen Earth, Shawn. Good Luck.

I would vote for City of Heroes, but I'd rather hear about another game I don't play. I'm interested in a lot of these, but ended up voting for DDO.

thats it? a month or more playing the game and the most you can say about it in retrospect is a short paragraph.... i would have hoped for a a less RP perspective in the final piece and somthing a little more objective to sum it all up.

Ah, and i was going to vote for Guild Wars when the lotro one ended. I started to play GW after listening on all your and *insert female name i cant remember right now* praise on previous podcasts. Well well.

And since Eve online isn't there, my vote goes for ...

Great read as always. I truly enjoyed the time spent adventuring with you and the rest of the Massive Hobbits. They really are a great group of people. For myself I will be staying with my character, so if you have some time, come on sometime and say hi!

I look forward to the next installment of the series. Good Luck!

Although I wasn't able to accompany Gibbi on all his adventures, it was a lot of fun when I did! I'm hoping we can all stay together and continue to adventure throughout Middle Earth, I certainly intend to.

Thanks for the great articles and bringing us all together.

I'd love to hear about Fallen Earth!

Well, after your incessant hinting in the last podcast about wanting to try Fallen Earth, I decided to help a brother out and voted for FE. Though I am curious about that game as well.

I would have voted for Aion otherwise, as that is my current obsession, but the leveling is honestly too slow for you to do anything of real interest to this column.

I'd like to see DDO or Chronicles of Spellborn completely F2P -- none of the "paid" benefits.

I had no clue that Shawn would pick my idea. I was completely shocked especially because its the only post I've ever put up. I guess it's cause he was asking for suggestions rather than a straight vote that I threw my 2 cents in. MMOs aren't built to end like book adventure stories and therefore all of them lack closure to your character's experience. It just made immediate sense to me how to end a LOTRO experience. I also voted for male hobbit warden at the beginning btw. This is Hobbiton!!

I wish I could vote for Ryzom and actually expect it to win...it's a beautiful game. But seeing it won't, here's another vote for FE!

The adventure was a lot of fun! I for one will be continuing to play Guarigione (who, incidentally, was the only elf to participate).

Good luck on the next adventure!

Oh, if you end up playing DDO, I have a character on Khyber.... if you want... ;)

I also voted DDO. I'm back in it, and loving it, so I think it would be fun.

I'd certainly join in on the Massively DDO runs if I was available timewise, and lots of people could join too, being that it's F2P.

Chambers: That's really not the point of these. They aren't reviews of the game, really. They're .... I dunno, interactive fiction, I guess.

I voted for Fallen Earth, but DDO:U would be OK, too.

Personally, I did not like DDO:U much -- I found it a big disappointment and step backward after being "spoiled" by LotRO (a vastly better game overall, imo). In terms of gameplay and world creation, DDO seemed like Turbine's "rough draft" for the better-designed LotRO.

But I do enjoy these "Choose My Adventure" articles, and a series on DDO may help me see better what it is that people like about the game.

Looks like DDO it is. I like the idea of doing free-to-play games at least part of the time because then people can join in even if they don't already play the game without laying down a lot of money.

I would give it a shot for fun, because I was pretty envious reading about the LotR adventures. I just can't afford to pay for another game right now.
