Orange Island is one of the best examples of a company that "got" Second Life. Rather than build a shiny 3d homage to themselves, they understood that what made SL a unique platform was the resident communities of users that were already there. So they sponsored concerts, talks, and other user-focused events on their island that brought thousands to their sim and created I think a lot of goodwill toward their brand.

Kudos to VW development company Metaversatility for excellent work of this project.

Rik, thank you so much for your comment. We're really happy our intentions - and actions - translated into something meaningful for the residents.

This would never have happened without the many communities and individuals we engaged with.

Lastly, and also key to this project, was the dedication of a team associating people from Orange, Metaversatility and Extralab, who worked across several time zones to overcome the challenges of a real-time environment that knows no borders.

Thank you also for your constant support, your voice in the metaverse has always been inspiring.
