There was lots of pretty worthless footage in that video, but the APB in-game portion looked pretty good.

Looks like crime craft but better. I was hoping for more depth instead of "this game is so easy a 2 year old could play it!"

Then why is it being covered so extensively on "The place" to get MMO news.. aka Massively.com? Is massively just grasping at straws to fill the page with stuff mmo or not?

If it is being marketed as an MMO it will definitely be covered by Massively.com if it is not I don't think you would have heard about it.

If this is not an MMO then I am not sure what it would be, it seems to be more substantial then an FPS so unless they are trailblazing a new genre then it is an FPSMMO to me

@Venekor
Please do not use the word "we" since this may imply that I share your opinion which I do not. The definition of what of what a MMO has been changing since the days of EQ and I personally believe that both GW and GW 2 are MMOs along with APB and FreeRealms. Expand your mind and embrace all these wonderful games which are part of the MMO genre.

Or you could expand your mind and not try to shove everything into predefined genres :\

Ok but by your definition anything on XBox Live is an MMO then. Where do you draw a line?

The handling of the car looked horrendous, it was more like a hovercraft floating all over the road like that.

Actually, it depends on how fast they were supposed to be going. Unless you have very high traction tires, most cars turn very poorly at high speeds and skid a lot. Simulating driving on a PC, particularly with a keyboard, is also very difficult, since a keyboard is not analog. You usually wind up tapping a LOT. So, with both the lack of info on his speed and tire quality, and the fact that a shot of the game being played earlier in the video did indeed show that they were using keyboards and mice, it's entirely possible that it was a controls issue, rather than a system issue.

I just hope this game will support a gamepad's use, as steering with an analog stick should be marginally better.
