"Instead of taking their crafting skills and placing them on the side, Karos is directly implementing them into an alternate character progression tree separate from leveling."

This is hardly a new thing, EverQuest II has been doing it for 5+ years.

The way they're doing this is a bit different from EQII, as far as I know. Their crafting is taking on more of a centralized approach to character advancement, as well as being implemented into their PvP.

They really had me interested because I love mining and fishing .... and crafting .... then they lost me with the essentially gathering areas, most likley the good ones, being in "high stakes" PVP zones .... So unless your in an uber guild or enjoy being gainked by uber campers, it doesn't sound like it would be much fun at all.

I've seen the "high stakes" pvp gathering areas in entropia ..... and yeah thats exactly whats going to happen.
