Wait . . . what? Already? October 27 of 2009?! I'm not complaining since I've been looking forward to this, but I'm very surprised it's done already. Were they able to keep the base code from Mythos and just had to retool the game or something?

Oh I hope not, cause if they just re-used code from a F2P game they were developing, and are charging us 20 bucks to get it, Its not going to be pleasant.

Well, Torchlight is a standalone single player game. Once they have your $20 that's all they'll ever get. Mythos was a F2P game that was going to have microtransactions, mostly for crafting.

The screenshots don't really look very similar, I'm just curious how Runic Games cranked Torchlight out so quickly.
