Turbine has been a busy bee lately when it comes to DDO Unlimited (launching September 9th) but we're pretty okay with that since the game is a whole lot of fun. Likewise, these new screens featuring the new Favored Soul class and add-on adventure pack, Reaver's Reach, are pretty entertaining. Screens from this particular developer have always been pretty great, and yet Turbine has stepped up their game here.
So even if you don't plan on playing DDO Unlimited too much, we highly recommend that you check these babies out. If you're looking to kill some time, especially, because they're oh-so shiny and pretty. It's so distracting that you could almost forget what you were, uh... what were we saying again?

I love this game, I played it for the first time last month in closed beta, and i found it was the funnest MMO i ever played, but i think it was mainly because of its combat system. I wish all mmo's shared its control type for combat.

It's going live Tuesday.. I'm pretty excited for it as well as the new server to start fresh from.

Oh, that's great news, I didn't know we'd be getting a head start like that. My only question now is, will they just patch our beta clients, or do we have to download a whole new client?

You'll have to download and install the Stormreach Mod 8 client.. they will send out a patch for Mod 9 (DDO Unlimited) on or near September 1st.
The old beta client (Lamannia) won't work with it, so either uninstall it or maybe keep it in a separate folder somewhere for the future betas.
Might as well grab the Mod 8 client now to save yourself some downloading when the patch hits:

Great screenshots. Is that Holy Avenger in this paladin's hands?
Can't wait till Tuesday. I've played the beta, so can jump in on 1st. Normal launch is on September 9th.
I'd suggest new server Cannith for all of you that want to try it.
It will be fresh, all players starting at level 1 and creating servers' economy from the scratch. No character transfers allowed, even for vets - so it's going to be really interesting.
