With World of Warcraft rebooting the original areas in the not too terribly distant future, some people are starting to level alts through the content a bit more slowly. The idea is to see if you can find anything you hadn't already seen before the world is torn asunder. One such spot was found by today's One Shots contributor, Goose Moose, who sent in a note along with the above image.
Even though I've played World of Warcraft since launch day, I never noticed this little halfway sunken ship by Menethil Harbor until recently. While leveling my druid alt I came across it and thought I'd give it some love and attention since I had overlooked it for so long. I don't know why, but I kind of wondered, 'Whose ship was this and what befell it so close to harbor?' I guess I'll never find out. I'm looking forward to finding more little things like this while leveling my alt.
Are you running old content before it goes away? If you've got any great images of your adventures in Azeroth, we want to see them. Email them in to us at oneshots AT massively DOT com along with your name and a brief description. We'll post them up for everyone to wax nostalgic over and give you the credit.

This ship is for Lightforge Ingots from a semi popular Darkshire quest...

The purpose of this ship is to cause death by murloc while searching for ingots!

Yeah... there's an entire quest chain built around that ship rofl... There's 3 or 4 quests all right on top of it, 2 or 3 of them coming from the ship itself.

Sounds like someone missed a quest arc or ran through the area as Horde the other time.

Its almost like they are encouraging you to explore the old content, especially with the instance server having been full over the last few months. I know they are working on that fix and have fixed a lot of servers, but this seemed to be a pretty big problem and some people just overlooked it and decided to bash other games. I hate that WoW is the game to be judged by and it has such massive problems that are forgiven by the masses.
