As ArenaNet has already warned us, their social networking resources will be utilized much more often in the near future. Earlier today, we saw evidence of this on the official Guild Wars 2 Facebook page as four new pieces of concept art for Guild Wars 2 have been released.
Now these aren't leaked shots or rumored from a friend of a friend, these are officially the first real pieces of confirmed concept art from the sequel to the highly successful Guild Wars. Follow along in our Guild Wars 2 concept art gallery below to see these images and stay tuned as we continue to bring you more as they're released, including the latest news as it trickles out of GamesCom.

Two of those four you posted are just small portions of the whole picture. Like the middle pic is a small portion of the pic directly to its left. Same with pic #4, it is a small portion of something bigger...

I basically posted those other ones in there to show the detail. These aren't high res pics, so I figured we should get in whatever we can with these. The only one I didn't post is the detail on the Ebonhawke image as the smaller thumbnail didn't really show anything special.
I can't wait to see what #4 will be in the complete piece!

Just so you know, the heads of ArenaNet (The devolopers) didnt quit, they where the heads of NCsoft. Yes concept art is disappointing after 2 years of waiting. But there is a trailer coming tomorrow at 12:00 (gmt+2) at gamescom.

"Just concept art?"
I often appreciate concept art more than in-game screenshots, especially from such talented artists over there at ArenaNet.
They gots mad skillz, I absolutely love their style.
Of course I want to see more of GW2, but these tidbits here are still fantastic.

after the events of the storyline in GW, Factions, Nightfall, and lastly Eye of the North, Post-Apocalyptic is an understatement.. LOL.
A whole lot of the things you did to beat the big-bads of GuildWars set the stage for the enemies and storylines of GuildWars2.

There were supposed to be a lot of open world, persistant areas in GW2. Well, according to what they said 2 years ago anyway.

I suspect some big news from them soon. Well, I guess it is announced somewhere that there is some stuff hitting the streets tomorrow afternoon. One of my friends is on the art team over there. But the stuff he lets slip I don't dare share.
Right now, I have complete confidence in the GW2 team. And since my friend is not brushing up his resume anytime soon, I think that NCSoft must be leaving ArenaNet alone. If my friends over there bail, I'll post it in a comment, heh.
