The game does seem like a sequel to COX when you first start. However that sensation is diffused a bit when you leave the starting zone. The differences in the game really come to light: Not just the art, but Champions Online seems to be a much deeper game. It is obvious that Cryptic has taken the lessons learned from COH and applied them to this release. It is the first MMO I've been tempted to buy in about a year.
