Oh, I can't wait for it to drop.
I can not WAIT to talk about this game (and it's endless list of shortcomings).

Screw my high horse about MTs + Subs. There's a bagillion other reasons NOT to buy or play CO.

Sadly I can't disagree. =(

I don't know why Jack would say he believes that, he really must not ever read his own Beta forums.

Some beta testers love the game, some hate it. Reviews will be mixed. Just like every other beta.

Sure, there's some bad things to say about Champions. However, bring up an MMO you think is better, and their will be plenty of people to call your MMO fail also. And in the end, if you say there is no good MMO out now, then what is your basis for a good MMO?

I wished they hired real game testers to close beta test MMORPG's and pay them. Then their opinions would actually be worth 2 cents.

Given that you apparently have no respect for the game or it's developers why not just start shit-talking now?

"A common misconception is that Mythic could have improved performance by just throwing more or better servers at the game — in fact, Andy said that the servers have performed far beyond what they ever expected, but that some of the server code was less-than-ideal, which they have been working at improving (this is in regards to some of the lag of the graphics-intensive mass combat battles)."

So they expected the game to crash server side during forts?

A commonly-seen thing on MMO comment threads is the ability of players to pick something a dev said, out of the whole interview, and twist it.

To be fair, when we tested forts during the beta, they performed fairly well. the netcode stood up, at that point. But then on the live realms, people just kept pouring into the forts, far more than the beta tests had expected. Mythic suddenly has to look over their netcode, find ways of improving the server handling to reduce the huge lag.

It's like EVE - for ages Jita, the major trade hub, would lag terribly all the time. Major fleet battles still do lag terribly. CCP has had the time to put in the work and improve their server code - Mythic has hardly had the time to do that, the game's only been out a year, which is enough time to try fix all the bugs left over from launch, but hardly time to begin major work on base server code.

How could you not expect everyone to flock to the fortress fight when you design the game as a gear threadmill where the fortress fights are a necessary rung on that threadmill which only happen once in a while?

If Burberry represents the British traditional sutra, then Paul Smith is the example of the British humor.Burberry’s plaid is widely known to people, so does Paul Smith’s colored bands.Paul Smith appears to be a gentleman but he is not and this is his British humor.
