I really think that this is just another stunt to get their seerver numbers back up to what they were before the "easter crash" although some people didn't experiance this( i'm not sure about the US severs but it was certainly like this on some of the EU ones) it affected some servers hugely, they also probably have hopes that it will keep their player from moving to the new shiny one which are to be released around the time the event is going on. To me the event looks pretty good it's always nice to involve a little bit more lore into the MMO to give a the old tabletop players(such as myself) a feeling of imersion into the Warhammer Fantasy world that some peope crave for. There is also the question of if they will get the dungeon "playable" in time for the event. Some of the dungeons from launch still have buggy monsters or pathing issues that Mythic have not attended to, If they get it perfect on release, hats off to them, but with their record i'm slightly abivolent that they will achievewhat they setout to do.
