I LOVE playing the Assassin. They are very intense and lots of action when playing. Aion is really a game for those who are tired of just push a button and fight...lots of interaction and keeps you thinking while you fight. Aion Fan Boy here!!!

I have only played one 1 Beta (lvl 11)but I wanted to know & did not understand from the info online, how is the customization possible in subclasses? I mean how is one Sorcerer different from the other?
As far as I understand there are no builds and everyone has the same skills (at least if they have the money & level). How do you then personalize your character?
If anyone can answer that would be appreciated.

It's taking every ounce of willpower not to preorder this. I keep telling myself I need to wait this time - and see how it retains players after the first couple of months - but I know I'm going to end up buying it at launch. I'm weak!

Aha, so that is where David Noonan (formerly of Wizards of the Coast) went! He was a designer for Dungeons and Dragons so I have high expectations for interesting -- and challenging -- content in Aion.

Sorry but Aion is just pretty grapics with a boring story that will be complete gone from the quests pass level 20 and you get your normal grinder quests.

Really Lani Blazier is really hot however! If she will join me on a date I will be buying Aion! :D

LOL thats funny a boring story!! You definitely must be a WoW fanboi. I have been in beta since the beginning and the story is awesome. The quests actually have to do with the over all story unlike WoW.

As for Arnie, instead of builds they have a stigma system. Read about it in the link below.

I am talking with boring story that its really Korean I did not care much for the story. And sure some of the quest got to do with the over all story but there are many that got noting to do with it as well! You started to make a comparing with WoW for what I see there are here also many quests that ask you to kill 10/40 of this and loot 5 of this and so on, They even got the Talk to this guy and deliver this quests so they pretty much using the same quest system them WoW what not make it worst but it does not make it better!

Why are there so many WoW fanboys that post on forums, that seem to be functionally illiterate? I know with higher subscription numbers, the percentage of morons must rise as well, but still, why are all these retards so inclined to spew their idiocy everywhere?

What I do not like of this trailer is that they make it look like this game was designed by the people talking and make you think the game was make in the USA!

This is bad marketing like I do not like the real Korean designers do not get credit for this game you can see they work hard on it and still do. But somehow they try to let the USA/EU people believe this is a all US game!

Eben I wonder why there are so many Aion fan boys or lets call them the hype of the month fan boys! That believe the next big release game is any good just like it got pretty grapics and one or two extra stuff or just oh my god brand new battle system..... They did not learn noting from Age of Conan, Warhammer Online or any other of this games that where release in the last 4 years. Subscription numbers is not everything I known but so far Blizzard was the only one to deliver on there trailers and like you seen in the last trailer they do not waist time making trailers and so on they make gameplay! The percentage of morons like Eben is must rise as well, but still, why are all these retards so inclined to spew their idiocy everywhere?

Just an FYI here. The current version which we've all been playing is 1.2 which does NOT include a ton of content which is going to be released at open beta and then at launch. It's also why you hear alot of people screaming it's a grinder - because the version they've all been playing is Chinese Aion. Chinese Aion is an outsourced version that's not being handled by NCSOFT which is why they're not going above version 1.0 any time soon. Also, version 1.0-1.2 is capped at level 45. Again, this is just an FYI.

Start to be sad there are tons of boar kill type quests in this game but unlike other mmo's they not stop on higher levels they keep falling back to this type of quests!! This fact for me make this trailer a joke like they try make you believe every single quest is part of the overall story line! I did smile with one quest that had something like "Oh my god the evil guys are coming but some "boars" are standing in the way on the battle field can you take care of them before its too late?" lol

In AION you have your standard quests where NPCs of AION can ask for your help with their situations, like killing boars attacking their crops. These are not part of the over all story but gives some life to the world and NPCs. And they also just help with leveling. They are filler quests.

You then have your work order quests which have to be completed if you want enjoy end game content. These quests are all about the storyline, and bring major depth to the game play.

In WOW after BC was released all the quests just became crap filler quests that are boring as hell.

Now WoW is all lets rush to 80 because that's when the game really starts. In AION the game really starts at 25 when you can enter the Abyss and start the PvPvE experience not level cap 50.

There is absolutely nothing new or interesting about this promotional video.

Yes, I realise its a sales-video, but sadly I don't hear anything about how they plan to adress the same bugs and flaws that somehow always seem to arise post-launch and catch these companies unaware. What I want to hear is this:
Will they learn where everyone else has failed and ADDRESS the problems? I don't want footage of how cool the game looks on their own above-average and over-expensive computers or their hot producer. That is not what makes me want to buy a game.

Will they just continue the way all other MMOs did and barf out new content instead of fixing problems with a game that is launched too early? In other words: paint the turd in golden paint to make it look less shitty while it will always be a turd underneath.

Show me a video where the developers talk about that and I'm all ears. This is just the same, lame PR-crap. Or is Massively really just an extended PR-machine for these companies?
