I'd be surprised if we even got to see a new class or something at PAX. I mean like, what, there are only a few left to be revealed, two of which are pretty much shoe-ins to be Sith/Jedi classes, and they are essentially required to keep this slow drip-drip-drip style of news revelations going up until near launch in order to retain interest (or so their PR people think, anyway). I'd be shocked if we hear anything about new classes anytime soon. I bet at PAX we'll get some new gameplay videos, maybe they'll display a playable demo (which would admittedly be pretty neat) but I'm just not holding my breath for any new information. :/

Apparently they do time new announcements for cons. Here's a blog post with a big quote: http://www.swtorblog.net/?p=368

"During this time of year, our announcements are planned around events such as E3, Comic-Con, GamesCom, PAX."

So yeah, they actually do plan to show off stuff at these cons.
