Champions Online dev chat answers questions from the fans

Not really many highlights to speak of. The forum thread is basically a couple of pages of people whining that the chat revealed absolutely nothing new. They talked a bit about how many different things you will be able to craft, which sounds interesting. But besides that it was a completely generic Q&A - which I would have expected from a game that's still a ways from release, but not from a game coming out in less than a month.

The questions the devs chose to answer were pretty mediocre - stuff like, what makes your MMO different than the rest? "You can pick your outfits and powers and stuff!"

I don't want to be excessively negative here. The last thing I want to see is another MMO that ends up failing, I always like to see the devs do well no matter who it is. I just have a bad feeling about CO.

I agree with Lone wolf As it is CoH has already stolen allot of their ideas about the changing the powers colours and stuff like that. I find it annoying when even before a new game can be released their competitors steal all their ideas and try to add them to their game in an attempt to ruin the new game and then the game fails. Everyone says they want something new and when it comes along the old game adds their own crap and ruins the launch of the new game but in the end you look at the old game and go hmm this was fun but it really didn't improve the crap in this game i didn't like in the first place but by then its too late. The new game doesn't get enough money to keep all their staff and they don't get to out out all the new content they wanted to release and the game gets ditched totally. So I'm really hoping CoH doesn't do that to this game because i for one want something new improved with fresh ideas not someones recycled ideas that get stale because they have no imaginations of their own.
