Book: Harry Potter
School fun for the first time, graduate into a wizarding war. Fun for the whole family. Unfortunately, I don't read enough to make this count.

Film: Terminator
I'm surprised it hasn't been done already. War. Robots. Humans with equipment. Make it so, number one. You also have potential in an Aliens vs Predator MMO.

TV Series: Firefly/Serenity
Fresh gunplay mechanic, various sci-fi/old-school genre worlds, set it after Miranda. Print your money. I could also go for some Heroes and Power Rangers.

Offline Videogame: Pokemon
Obviously. The design speaks for itself. I'd also enjoy some Little Big Universe and maybe even a Halo MMO.

Other Property: Y - The Last Man
Yeah, I said it. Rebuild the world... except all the men are dead. I could also go for a Marvel Universe game that wasn't kid-centric. Naruto could also be good.

Mechwarrior is just begging for a skill/gear based MMO implementation. Forget classes and level grinding, build out your mech, use it to gain skills to unlock more nuanced gear. I'd play that game forever.

Ruined forever by a bad eighties film but:

Dune - But taken from the full series of books though, about eight or nine if I remember right in total.

A dozen worlds, not just the sand one, a hundred classes - everything from shapeshifters, to sword fighters, martial arts specialists, even the odd 'pyschic' (think the navigators) The 'Freman' Speak for themselves as some sort of hunter/survivalists. Could even throw in some sort of 'tech class' complete with non thinking steam punk robots and weapons

Never happen, and no need for it given the current flood of games but Dune has so much source material for this kind of thing it's almost unreal.

I'd have to vote Pokemon too - it is just so obviously suited to being an MMO.

I do love Animal Crossing also, but on account of the disgraceful laziness with which the franchise is being developed I'm perfectly happy to let Free Realms pillage their ideas instead (fishing and Animal Crossing 'inspired' housing on the way).

I would like to play a Shadowrun-MMORPG. I liked the SNES game and i have read a few books. Shadowrun has it all: fantasy, magic, cyberspace, full-automatic weapons and giant dragons. How better can it get than taking on a dragon with fireballs and a hail of gunfire?

I came here to say Shadowrun too. I played the Genesis version and absolutely loved it. I hoped that when they announced a new game based on that ip we'd get something more GTA-like, instead we got a weird fighting game. An MMO would be amazing.

Shadowrun gets my vote as well, however, the ENTIRE IP would be a huge undertaking, and I'm willing to bet that the sheer scope of the Shadowrun Universe is what's keeping it away from development. There isn't a developer out there that hasn't picked it up, looked at how deep and involved the universe is, and didn't feel their sphincter tighten at the thoughts of thousands upon millions of disappointed fans that would backlash at "Missing Content #X".

Thankfully, Wheel of Time is being made into an mmorpg. Gonna be awhile yet, but it is at least officially on the way. I hear Firefly is coming as well, although that may be more of a rumour.

Mechwarrior... c'mon... seriously... why hasn't this happened yet...

Even better, just make Steel Battalion: Line of Contact 2... the game was virtually already an MMO in many aspects, not to mention that IT WAS THE GREATEST, YES, THE GREATEST GAME OF ALL FRIGGIN' TIME!... *ahem*, my apologies for that outburst...

But since I've gone completely apeshit thinking they'll ever revive the SB franchise, I'll just hope for the next best thing, a Mechwarrior MMO.
