MMORPG's are "RPG's" hence vanity games which is why they are mostly made with 3rd person. RPGers like to oogle themselves and view around their characters.
Shooter players prefer FP and not RPG systems.
I guess my point is this - why are they sticking exclusively with FPS views rather then enabling first AND third?
It's seems like a minor thing but IMHO, it is going to make a huge impact on who it appeals to. FPS players traditionally do not play fantasy games nor RPGs and more importantly - monthly subs.
MMO players are not big fans of FPS.
It's going to be interesting to see how this game is received.

Seriously, if you're killed from behind in a FPV game that foregoes on tags, there'll be no way to know who killed you. That's the main reason, Starvault prefers their players to be gankers instead of PVP on an even footing.
