Trion World Network hiring PS3 programmers for SyFy Network MMO?

First it was Mtv that converted to all live tv action nonsense, then it was Fox with their reality tv shows, then it spanned out to everything, now even cartoon network is live "kids" or whatever, not cartoons so much, not that I care so much, but Sci Fi... was a heavy blow, sure its still science fiction (Sy Fy? what?), and it was live previously, but they became truly decadent when they realised they made more money on self made entertainment rather than acquire written and produced science fiction tv shows outside of their studios, now noone wants to make them, and all we have left are reruns of Next Gen two hours before we get off of work/school.

Its so lame when anyone who provides a service worries more about money than quality, a decadent characteristic amongst us Capitalists...

Cartoon Network showing King of the Hill makes me want to do a headstand and merge my mouth and buttocks servers to populate my mouth with brown and my eyes with pink.

I heard that they changed their name because by mispelling it they can brand it on products outside of cable television. In other words, SciFi is a genre, SyFy is... well... a name.

It doesn't really negate the fact that it's a stupid name, and apparently the nickname for syphilis in Poland.

Unfortunately, it all comes down to what people want to watch and what the network wants to pay. Apparently, this network wants to focus on lower budget independant series... as opposed to airing reruns of other series that are also being played on Spike, TNT, and several other channels.

I cant stand the name change. It is an insult. NBC is riddled with idiots in charge that are out of touch with their market.

This name change makes me ill, can't even watch it anymore with that damn SyFy logo on it. I really dont care about any MMO from them either.

Not related to MMOs at all but Warehouse 13 is a great show, I have been watching it on Hulu (all 3 episodes) but it is nice change from Star-Gate and whatever else plays on that channel these days.

Kaamos is a genius. Whoever is driving the bus at that network is utterly out of touch with their dwindling fan base.

SyFy (eeurgh) lost me back when they canceled Farscape.

They are all rank bad hats. :P

Either this game will be bad from the outset; or it will be good, and rapidly made bad by the producers.
