Flying is not enough solely by itself to get me to try any MMO. Give me some rich content and lore and I could give a hoot about some lame quest to get some wings. They act like its never been done? Who cares if I have to call a mount to fly myself? It may add a slight dynamic in games where you can actively use powers or spells while in flight. But really it's simply the next logical step. Don't tout it like its some world changing revolution. I personally simply don't see it as a deal breaker.

Shadowbane did flight with two races like 5 or 6 years ago. It was a very workable system, and was usable for strategic combat and for quicker transportation.

Sounds like all of these games are just using this as a selling point, no real depth to any system (save maybe DCUO).

I play champions online and I love the diversity of travel powers. Of course traveling options depend a lot on the genre/background of every game. But what I would really like to see in MMO's is more vehicles. Wouldn't it be great if they had planes, cars, tanks, spacecrafts, boats, chariots, flying dragons, water beasts etc (depending on the game of course) and that they could carry more than one player at a time. Similar to action based games.. (I have to admit I just got into MMO gaming.. lol)
