With Turbine gearing up for the launch of Dungeons and Dragons Online Unlimited on August 4th, new screens are becoming increasingly more common. This time around, we've been given images of the Deleras Tomb and Vault of Night modules. We don't mind at all, because well, dragons and undead liches are really quite awesome. The very screen above most certainly made us want to play the game the moment we set eyes upon it.
Something tells us you can expect to see more screens in the coming weeks. Although, maybe next time we'll get to see some other monsters of Eberron -- perhaps some new demons? You can never really go wrong with intimidating demons -- just ask Tim Curry if you don't believe us on that one.

DDO is definitely now on my radar screen these days.
It may even turn out to provide the "MMO Gap Insurance" I have been looking for to fill in that "doldrums" space between GW1/LotRO/WoW (which are all kind of sputtering and fizzling out for me) and STO/SWTOR/GW2, which are all still a ways off in the distance (2010?).
DDO has replaced Aion on my "next game to try" list. Strangely, the more I see and read of Aion, the less it interests me. (However, if there's a free Aion trial, I might still give it a try.)

Any DDO players able to tell me what's going on here?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1G1AD7VrPEI&feature=related
(ie: class, level, whether her abilities are items or skills, dungeon level as she seems to be one-shotting everything, etc..)
Certainly looks like fun.
Many thanks.

That is one of the earliest and lowest level dungeons (multi-part quest chain, the video happens to be the last part).
The character is a 14th level caster (likely a wizard). Not much skill involved in this specific video, it's a very well known quest since everyone does it at low levels, it drops a rare unique item in that last chest which is what the player recorded the video to show.
You can see that the boss dies in 2 shots (almost 1). While that does not happen in more difficulty quests, casters are certainly very good at soloing at higher levels.
