"End of the year" for the beta. Ok, now we have something.

I've called this vaporware before, but if they meet that deadline then the retail product will not be far behind. I'm officially downgrading them from vaporware to "Douchebags who used bait and switch tactics and hype-mongering forever to give us a product very very very late......Douchebags."

Actually, it's "later this year". That could, of course, mean end of the year, but maybe it'll be a little sooner than that.

Uh ... Am I crazy, or does this look 100% identical to "EVE Online?" Even the website uses the same fonts and graphics.

It looks like the graphics engine might have been beefed up a bit, but other than that ...

Wow, I thought it was in beta already. No wonder that mid-june launch got moved to "indefinite".

@Badger: It's the sci-fi genre, thats how it is. The games aren't alike from mechanical stand points.

yeah, looks more like freelancer on steroids. I played a little bit of it at PAX 08 and signed up for the beta.
I play eve, and this will be a nice game to blow off steam in a similar setting.
