Unfortunately, this sort of pre-requires some working knowledge of Ryzom, of which I have none. ='(

szsleepy, it doesn't appear to require you to have some working knowledge of Ryzom- I've never played it and I put together a Ryzom plugin for my WordPress plugin "Metaverse ID" last night.

All without ever playing the game :-P

"multilingual support"? Wow, does THAT exclude US residents or what? How many US gamers -- who might be Ryzom fans who would be glad to integrate the API into an app or website -- have the multilingual skills needed to qualify?

just come up with static fields to populate the Ryzom data in like "name" "server" etc. and make a different interface for each language to downlaod then just use babblefish and translate the words.

As THAC0 says, support doesn't necessarily mean you need to translate it yourself. With my entry being a WordPress plugin, I can just use the built-in Internationalisation support for plugins.
