Not a bad vlog. There was some useful info. The weapon count seems a little low, when you consider that includes explosives (grenades, c4, trip mines (hopefully)), guns (the many different types), knives, and non-lethal.

I do think the car count is interesting. 30+ cars. There is no reason not to be unique, with that car count and the body customization.

The emotes were cool, but I don't see myself using most of them. I consider them mostly superfluous, and I use them when I'm bored or taunting a victim. The dances are probably what I've used the most in any game. It's especially fun to dance on the dead corpse of a victim. I'd like to see their dances a little more polished and a bit longer.

A close beta around fall sounds good. I am surprised they are able to move this fast. I hope they are trying to rush things, because this game has so much potential, it makes my head spin. It went from, "I don't care!", to "Wow I must have it!" over the past few weeks. I believe now it is at the top of my watch list, bumping Star Trek Online out of it's position.

Am I the only one that finds it amusing that the dell logos on the laptop and desktop monitors are fuzzed out?

I noticed it too. Dunno, maybe they think Dell will get mad about their logo being on their vlog. and They might.

Legal reasons. Often, if you don't have permission from a company, you can't have their logo or products that are "identifiable" on display in another marketing piece. If the Dell logo was visible, it might infer that Dell was involved in the production or financing of APB in some way.

I only know the rules about advertising/marketing, which these podcasts fall under, and you just cannot display company logos like that without permission. Even the books behind him, if they were more prominent, would require work to blur them out.

It is odd how stuff like that works.

Did it bother anyone else that the character used for demonstrating emotes seems to have no idle animation whatsover and was holding and returning his gun to the same really awkward looking position?

I'm sure it's something they'll address. I hope so anyway. But no I didn't notice it to be honest.

The character HAS an idle animation. You can clearly see he's breathing.
