The best SW movies(Empire and Jedi) weren't written or directed by him. RotS was good because he wrote himself into a corner where he HAD to make certain events happen to match up with the original trilogy, certain events that would all be awesome in one movie. I'm a hardcore SW fan and even I can't vouch for him these days. KotOR was one of the best SW games of all time, and it was set thousands of years before the movies, in an era created by comic book writers, using characters who had nothing to do with the original movies(other than a few last name kickbacks, like Admiral Dodonna). I'd prefer GL keep his hands off this game, like he did with KotOR.

One, Jedi was written by Lawrence Kasdan and George Lucas, so your theory just went out the fucking window. Two, you're basing who wrote what on Writer's Guild credits. It's a well-known fact Lucas had a hand in writing all six movies. The only one he wasn't given credit for was Empire and that was his decision. Leigh Brackett, who was given co-credit with Kasdan, didn't write a single word of the Empire script because she died before she turned anything in. Lucas requested credit be given to her as a tribute because he respected her as a science fiction writer. The first full draft of Empire was written by Lucas and the final draft was written by Kasdan. The two scripts were combined and Empire was made. It worked so well they did it the same way for Jedi only this time Lucas was given credit.

That doesn't change the fact that 2 of the best weren't directed by him. Plus Empire and Jedi were still co-written by people who weren't George Lucas.

The scripts are already written, the VO is already taking place. The art direction is already cemented.

He, by this article, hasn't seen much of very little at all. So there's no doubt he has little to do with the story. He's probably just figure that gives it a thumbs up, or a minor touches. Don't worry people.

If he was a part of this from the beginning. THEN I would worry.

Considering how he ran the IP into the ground from Return of the Jedi on? Yeah I'd bitch. It survived in spite of him. The prequel movies were painful to watch, from Jedi-lite Qui-gon not being able to charm a small flying frenchie alien, to "but you were the chosen one!" Yeah, i'd be worried if he started excercising creative control.

Kyle, you should head over to 'The Feed' and watch the interview yourself. That's where I saw this, and came away with the feeling that Muzyka was doing a 'Song and Dance' to avoid saying no to Lucas's involvement. All that's really required for Lucas to be involved in his reading a memo or making a phone call. Much more is implied by the Eurogamer article than is really stated by Muzyka. Of course, there is some personal interpretation, which is why I recommend seeing it.

As long he doesn't suggest Gungan Sith or the rewriting of our old cantina pvp battles, I guess I can live with it. :P

I really do think that Lucas should have released episodes 1, 2, and 3 later than he did. But regardless, I loved them just as much as the classic ones. The Force Unleashed had a great storyline, the gameplay was a little sloppy, but that was more because of the designers failing to deliver, not him. Anything that has him advising it turns out better than it would have with most movie directors/producers/screenwriters.

HAHA, will I be able to play Jar Jar? Oh, will I have chance to see Ewoks kill off all the bad guys? I have given up on this title already, too many problems to overcome. Lucas ruins everything he touches and EA makes me question many things.

Lucas is a hack and the only time Star Wars has ever been interesting is when other people were writing about it.

Really history showed that Lucas just love to milk his Star Wars and I am sure he is already counting the greens he can make of this game and I am also sure he never will play this game him self! Steve is the gamer of the two friends :D

I am sure he heard of World of Warcraft and mostly how much money they are making at the end that's what he cares about!
