Do your research before you post. The FFXI team didn't "move on" to FFXIV. Actually, the FFXI team is still developing FFXI (WoTG additions, version updates, etc), while at the same time they are developing FFXIV. Yes, they are pulling double duty.

I for one see nothing wrong with this one being humourous, considering CoP and ToAU were pretty damn grim, and serious. And, on that note, you will not find a story in any mmo that will rival the Chains of Promathia storyline in FFXI. Hell, that storyline will even put to shame most Final Fantasy stories.
