What is also useful is information about accidental banning. Recently that happened (unable to login from this computer) and I was able to get it resolved by the next day. As far as I know I did nothing wrong and have a clean record. My IP had not changed lately. My password is extremely secure. My only guess is someone did a typo on what IP or MAC to ban since they did not tell me anything in the response to the ticket. Should I just go on assuming that it was a mistake somewhere?

in some cases (like a monetary mishap for premium accounts), the account data is usually only stored for at most 2 months, somtimes even less than a month ( http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-1961 )
