its a bit silly looking but Since the guy is willing to Dis FreeRealms so much and say that they aren't a collection of mini games then I'm going to give them a try and help em out!

Boo hiss to Free Realms deriding!

But nonetheless the Grove element sounded intriguing enough to overcome the IT'S A MAN WITH AN ANIMAL HEAD STUCK ON! obstacle, so I've signed up to try the game.

Says someone with the nick "stormdragon".

Ahem.

Believe it or not, Furries play a LOT of different games? WoW, SL, Free Realms (yes, there's furs in free realms too! run away!).. Hell, a bunch of furs play EvE. I know of one who still plays Jewel of the Nile!

Yes, there will probably be a large furry contingent in EE due to the large amount of races available. but don't give me any of this "Deviant" crap. Stop pandering to the stupidity of a minority sect of a minority sect of a medium-sized fandom, and educate yourself before making base, accusatory comments about our apparrent collective promiscuity.

it's also interesting to note that the two people making accusatory comments are "wolfsterne" and "stormdragon63", isn't it?

lol first off, Matt wasn't dissing anyone he was talking about what kind of game designs they had secondly get over it, not everyone likes Freerealm's over repetitive mini-game structure. And how can you call some of the stuff on EE's forums disgusting? Have you seen WOW's Youtube videos? Ah of course you have... you were probably the ones who created them...

SOE also has no problem calling the cops on anyone that even jokes about inappropriate actions or wordage around kids. A very good friend of mine is on the FR dev team and they started working with state and federal authorities even during early development to make sure Freerealms would not become a playground for Nambla.

This game seems just the opposite.

oh. ok. i get it.

because furries are the /only/ deviants in town? right? right.

world of warcraft has it's own set of deviants. night elf strippers?

and while we're at it, there's plenty of underage kids on world of warcraft. there's very little stopping paedophiles from using it to connect with them.

i'm sorry, but in any particular online space, there are going to be those dangers. the fact that you think that you think earth eternal is "the only one" is, at best, laughable.

I agree with the furry above me. (greywolfe, in case he isn't above me for some reason)

I find it disgusting that someone would go so far as to insinuate that EE has pedophiles. First off I won't deny that there are people who are 18-20, secondly a good portion of EE members are minors and to say that EE has pedophiles that's like calling your own child a pedophile.... BECAUSE MOST OF THESE PEOPLE ARE THE SAME AGE AS YOUR CHILDREN!!

I can't wait for this game, the great variety of playable races are what initially attracted me. The fact that no race is restricted to certain classes makes it 100x better, so if I decide to make, say, a bull mage, I'm not considered the weakest noob in the game.

Also, the Groves sound like an awesome part of the game, and I can't wait until they release that as well.

The only thing I don't like about this game is that I discovered it around this time last year. The wait is getting to me... Haha....

Hope that OB is soon, and to see you guys there. :D

I've been tracking the development and arrival of this game for quite some time now. There have been ups and downs throughout the whole process, but the internet truly is on the cusp of something great, with Earth Eternal. I wait with bated breath that the arrival is sooner, rather than later.

The character customization is light-years ahead of World of Warcraft's, has the best price on the market (free), and has a very dedicated band of folks who want to make it great. When it comes, please have the kindness to try it: even if you end up thoroughly despising it, at least give it a chance.

Really looking forward to playing this game, and looks like some people can't handle change when it comes to innovation in MMO's. Anyway, yeah, hopefully this game will turn out really well and work out for the better for itself.

I've actually been following this game for a while now and every time new information is released it keeps getting better every time. The world seems quite large and imaginative from the screen shots that are available. The amazing range of choice you have for a character is quite refreshing compared to nearly all other MMOs on the market. This game looks like it will be a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stagnant gaming pool.

You all complaining about the furry crap are pretty ignorant to say the least. I've witnessed how disgusting they CAN be, but 'humans' can be just as disgusting.
Not to mention Sparkplay will more than likely be keeping a watchful eye out for anything inappropriate considering their target audience is 13-22.
How about you take your intolerance to the actual Deviants rather than ripping on a perfectly harmless game that hasn't even been released yet. :D If you don't like it, shut up and don't play.

Good interview by the way, but it's a little annoying reading all these comments that pretty much ignored every last thing in it just to bring up the freaking furry topic AGAIN.

You guys don't even know what disgusting means! War is disgusting, famine is disgusting, kidnapping for organs is disgusting... not a set of sexual preferences (which, btw should never be criticized). So burst that mind bubble of yours and start thinking like a 21st century human, for God's sake!
